It can either be a moisturizer or a primer, it's your call. The idea is to lay a base for your foundation to set. If you have pores on your face, a primer is a must.
Start filling in any sparse areas with an eyebrow pencil. Next, use eyebrow powder to define the lower arch. If you're looking to get a bolder look, use an eyebrow pomade instead.
This is to cover up any stubborn blemishes that you don't want to see. Conceal your dark circles and all other marks you wish to hide and blend it in. Make sure it's one shade lighter than your skin tone!
If you have oily skin, use a powder foundation. For dry skin, use a liquid foundation. Apply and use a sponge to blend your foundation all over your face.
This isn't an essential step but if you wish to get more defined cheekbones and jaws, use a contour stick darker than your skin tone to highlight your cheekbones, nose, jaw, your forehead, and blend it perfectly.
Start by applying a concealer. If you're looking for something simple, apply a single shade. If you're looking for drama, do 3-4 transitional shades with the darkest one starting from the outer corner and the lightest one on the inner. Go for eyeliner and mascara next!
Where you apply your blush and, your highlighter depends on your facial structure. Apply a little blush to the apple of your cheeks and the highlighter to your cheekbones, under your eyebrows, and a little on the nose.
Depending on what suits, line your lips with a lip liner and proceed with your lip color.
Lastly, to prevent the makeup from wearing off, use a setting spray to hold your glam in place.
Follow these steps and, you'll be on your way to becoming a makeup expert.
